- Officially I am a network manager for the Polk County School Board in Florida. I was a teacher for 2 years, teaching 1st grade and 4th grade. I was a double education major in undergrad(El. Ed. and Sec. S.S.) I'm getting a masters in E-Learning from UCF. I hope to one day be designing online courses for a college or university. I believe in social learning theory but I think we have a long way to go with it in online education. I've been a network manager for going on 4 years. Right now my daily responsibilities could range from designing digital content for students to imaging a pile of laptops for one of our mobile labs. I enjoy my job because I get lots of freedom to pursue ideas that I believe will benefit the children's educational experience with technology.
